Nature Explore

Jaime Escalante Early Education Center has been certified for the past 2 Years through the Nature Explore Program. The Nature Explore Classroom has come to enrich our outdoor environment giving children wide opportunities to explore and learn about Nature. Children benefit from the natural world in many ways. Just like an indoor classroom, outdoor play fosters children’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. They are free to move around and explore while learning to share and problem solve. Children are active participants in the improvements and maintenance of our outdoor classroom learning to care for the plants, trees and the animals in it.

Nature Explore provides research- based workshops, design consultations and resources created to support programs as they continue to connect children and families to the wonders of nature.
